1App Energy Ltd - SD

1app Energy is a smart home energy platform designed to solve a costly problem faced by UK households using Octopus Energy, EV chargers, and home battery systems.

Many homeowners unknowingly lose money when Octopus schedules EV charging during the day. Instead of using cheap grid electricity, the EV pulls energy directly from the home battery — energy that was often charged overnight at low rates. This results in users effectively paying peak prices for energy they originally bought cheaply.

1app Energy fixes this automatically.

The platform detects when daytime EV charging starts and prevents the home battery from discharging into the car. Instead, it intelligently forces the system to use grid electricity at the right times, preserving low-cost stored energy for when it actually saves money.

Built specifically for UK setups, 1app Energy integrates with systems like Solis hybrid inverters, EV chargers, and Octopus smart tariffs. It acts as a central control layer that ensures all devices work together instead of against each other.

In addition to solving EV and battery conflicts, the platform provides a unified dashboard showing solar generation, battery usage, EV charging, and home energy consumption in real time. Users can clearly see where energy is coming from, where it is going, and how to optimise it.

1app Energy removes the hidden inefficiencies that most homeowners are unaware of and turns complex energy systems into a coordinated, cost-saving solution. The result is lower electricity bills, better use of renewable energy, and a smarter home that works as one system instead of many disconnected parts.
