CitizenCY - Cypriot Citizenship & Residency
CitizenCY is a free mobile app that helps people obtain Cypriot residency and citizenship by descent, marriage, long-term residency, or investment. Built by Societates Civis, it walks you through eligibility, required documents, consulate quirks, and timing in plain language, then turns the result into a personalised pathway you can actually act on. An AI Concierge answers questions 24/7, and built-in reminders, an expert directory, and on-the-ground services (document retrieval, bank account setup, relocation help) take you all the way from "do I qualify?" to "passport in hand."
Key Features

Benefits
- Skip the forum rabbit hole: One coherent pathway instead of stitching together advice from outdated Reddit threads and consulate PDFs.
- Save on unnecessary legal fees: Know exactly which steps need a lawyer and which you can handle yourself, instead of paying a full retainer.
- Never miss a deadline that resets your case: Apostilles and translations have strict windows, and reminders catch what spreadsheets miss.
- Talk to an expert without a $400 consultation: The AI Concierge handles routine questions and flags when you actually need a human.
- Move faster than the average applicant: Knowing your full document list on day one can shave months off a 12–24 month process.
- Keep sensitive documents private: Your data lives on-device, not in a public legal-tech database. Useful when handling birth certificates and passports.
- Useful end-to-end: From "am I eligible?" through naturalisation to settling in Cyprus with a bank account and home.
- Built for the diaspora: Consulate finder and remote document retrieval work whether you're in Sydney, London, Toronto, or Johannesburg.
- Free forever core: Eligibility check, document list, and consulate finder are free with no credit card.
- One app, full journey: Replaces a folder of PDFs, three browser bookmarks, and a calendar full of half-remembered deadlines.
