Inkbound - Write your chapters, develop your charac
Inkbound is a browser-based writing app for novelists: chapters with characters and world-building in one place: a Codex. A built-in style assistant also flags repetitions and weak verbs in real time, fully client-side. With the Grammar Check, you can add a word to your dictionary so it wont be flagged again.
You can place your chapters and date markers on a free form timeline. Drag and drop everything. It offers stats for every time you write or edit your text. Export in Word, pdf or by email.
Free for one project.
The Premium version is a single $20 payment right now. Never a subscription.
What's different:
Inkbound's AI reads your manuscript, detects your characters and world elements and extract automatically their traits, so your Codex builds itself. No need to do it yourself. Just click a button. It also offers AI-Corrected Voice Dictation. Dictate by voice and let Inkbound transcribe your words in real time. Ideal for writing on the go or avoiding keyboard fatigue. No AI Writing.
