Nix It - Hold Less, Do Better

Nix It is a personal work management system built on a simple but radical idea: you donʼt need to manage more work, you need to hold less. Most productivity tools focus on organizing an ever-growing pile of tasks, emails, and obligations. Nix It flips that model by giving you a structured framework to eliminate what doesnʼt matter so you can focus on what truly does. The system operates in three stages. First, Filter: every incoming item is evaluated to determine whether it actually needs to be tracked. If ignoring it carries no real consequence, itʼs eliminated immediately. Second, Distill: the remaining items are organized by ownership and surfaced only when relevant through time-based and event-based triggers, keeping unnecessary noise out of sight. Third, Eliminate: items are permanently removed through completion or deletion, with no artificial distinction between the two. Regular reviews ensure nothing lingers without purpose. Built on the principles that elimination is safe and clarity creates strength, Nix It helps you stop managing more and start doing better by holding less.
