OfficeDex - Open-source office suite, optional AI

OfficeDex is an open-source desktop office suite for macOS and Windows. It handles everyday documents, presentations, and spreadsheets as an alternative to Microsoft Office. You can directly edit DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX files without AI, or use optional AI assistance to develop a draft from a brief or reference material. Refine the result through follow-up instructions and direct edits. Workspace files are stored locally. The desktop app is free under GPL-3.0; hosted AI uses Credits, and supported external providers may charge their own API fees. Prompts and relevant context may be sent to the AI service you select.
